Stormcenter's Java IRC Client
You're using PJIRC from pjirc.com
- Use "/join <channel name>" to join another channel
- Example: /join #dwarfstar
- Use "/nick <new name>" to change your nickname
- Example: /nick SuperFred
This Java client is provided for your convenience. There are lots of dedicated IRC clients that provide more functionality available for Windows, OS/X, Linux, and other Operating Systems. The folks at Stormcenter suggest any of the following:
- XChat - a multi platform Open Source client for *NIX, OS/X, and Windows
- ChatZilla - an AddOn for Firefox that adds IRC to your browser
- mIRC - The widely used Windows client
